VERSAILLES - Fire
It is the optical effect of a space in movement, a regular and continuous alternation of light and shadow that tricks the eye, creating an apparent fluctuation. Velvety spaces swell and deform, thanks to the force of the dual tones and bi-dimensional effects. The perspective changes, mutates, and tears away from reality to become vision and sensation. Straight lines create defined modular grids that become pure and vaguely abstract jewels. An optical effect already achieved during the Renaissance and recaptured in the revolutionary years of the 1960s forges the silver, creating sets of jewellery and alternating the whites and black, powder pink and wine red.
